United We March Forward (UWMF) believes that you can help us make an impact to African immigrants and refugees. You will work with families who are eager to improve their lives. Your skills and talents will assist families gain access to resources and opportunities and develop skills that will allow them to become productive citizens of the community.

Iowa Community Corps | Health & Human Services
The Iowa Community Corps is a new, Public Health AmeriCorps program at the Iowa Department of Health & Human Services. AmeriCorps members serve directly with community-based organizations and government agencies to tackle our state’s most pressing challenges. Members receive a living allowance and education award for their service, while gaining a professional network, skills, and professional development to forge a successful career in public health.
Program benefits:

· Federal student loan deferment, forbearance or forgiveness

AARP FOUNDATION | EMPLOYMENT
The AARP Foundation's Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) helps low-income adults aged 55 and older re-enter the workforce by helping them gain job skills and work experience through paid, part-time community service positions.
